Most people think of “crazy” when we hear ”Scientologists” but how many of us relate them to Satanism. Well, there is a solid connection of the two that you might be surprised to learn. Most Christians are well aware that the December 25th date was chosen to be the day we celebrate Jesus’ birth. No one actually knows the exact date of His birth. We are also aware that this date was chosen to coincide with the pagan celebration Winter Solstice. This was done in hopes of converting the pagans. Since there is a paganism connection with this date, there are people (even Christians) who think we shouldn’t celebrate Christmas on this day. What they don’t know is that this date holds a richer significance and that it is an appropriate day to celebrate Jesus’ birth. Personally, I wouldn’t want to image the cold and dark winter season with out this spirit lifting celebration to remind me of the warmth and light of Jesus. This video is an excerpt from the DVD “Occult In Your Living Room”. Stephen Dollins is a born again Christian and former high priest of the Church of Satan. Here he explains the true origins of the “Star of David”.

First, it’s probably a good idea not to walk into the movie theatre with the notion that this is some “Disneyfied” version of the Christmas Carol.  It is anything but. This is a true-to-novel movie. Which in some ways was astonishing. Now before I watched this movie I read many reviews most with the same caution that this is a bit scary. Personally, as a desensitized twenty-something myself, I thought I’d surely seen scarier things in my day. I thought I probably wouldn’t even flinch. Well…that wasn’t the case. It was certainly a lot scarier than I would have expecting from a Disney movie. The 3D didn’t make those scary scenes any more comfortable either.  Some things I was really shocked to see. What was even more shocking was that with all the warnings about this is not a kids movie, there were many young children in the audience.  I have read that some parents were upset with Disney for it being less child friendly. But isn’t that true to the story? Isn’t Dickens novel suppose to be scary enough to make a retched person think twice about their life? Even though I sat there shocked and a little scared, I knew it was necessary. This is that age-old lesson that what you do in life echos in eternity.  As a Christian I believe this notion to be true. Also as a Christian was very pleased with the music selection in this movie. I can’t tell you how moved I was hearing “Hark The Herald Angels Sing” while flying around London and stopping to see a crucifix on top of a Church for all eyes to see. And even with all the scary stuff, the ending makes the journey worth it.  I ended up loving this movie so much that I just might take the journey again.

You know, even as Christians we can go through our whole lives not seeing the subliminal messages all around us. We have been so desensitized that we can’t even see  Satan’s work that’s right in front of our eyes. I have found two videos recently that have been a real eye opener.  The first is called “The Occult in Your Livingroom”. This video is by former high priest of the Church of Satan, Stephen Dollins.  In this video Stephen talks about the events in his life that led him to Satan, how he was led to the Lord and how many things that enter our homes have occult connections. Some of the things in this video I was aware of, some I was not. Symbols for example. I knew the “peace sign” was really an inverted cross but how many of you knew that the “Star of David” isn’t what it seems and the biohazard logo has witchcraft origin? This video is very informative on many other symbols and other subjects like TV shows.  I couldn’t possible explain in this blog all of the interesting material in this video. I suggest watching it in its entirety.  It has been uploaded onto YouTube so I will post the first video in hopes you will watch the rest.

The next video that is a real eye opener is  the “Hollywood Unmasked” documentary. It does tie into the previous video I’ve mentioned about how Satan enters into our lives and homes and we sometimes don’t know.  This documentary talks about how Satan uses film to get his messages out to the public. The beginning of this documentary talks about how many of the old Hollywood stars actually were Satanists and how they would call upon “spirits” to help them with their performances. This is very telling. How many times do we hear actors using the term “channeling” when talking about how they did such a great performance? We’ve heard it so often that we don’t even think anything of it.  Then it takes a documentary like this to make us say; “Oh wait, are they really channeling something?”  Again, I found this video on YouTube but you can actually buys this one from http://www.goodfight.org/  I will again post the first video in hopes you will watch the rest. Recently I found myself disturbed. I have been follow a certain Christian twitter account for some time now. I agreed with the posting and I thought this person was a good one to follow. Then I noticed a series of tweets supporting polygamy. I was shocked to say the least. For those of you who don’t know polygamy is act of one man having many wives. 

Now some people would like to point out that polygamy was practiced in the Bible. I can pretty much sum this up in one sentence. God invented monogamy and man invented polygamy.  The invention of polygamy was a sin! God created man and woman so that they could become man and wife. Not man and wives. Thy TWO shall become one in the flesh. Not thy three or thy four.  God did not invent, approve, encourage or endorse polygamy in any way.  Polygamy is adultery.  What about King Solomon? Deuteronomy instructed the King not to “multiply wives”.

Moses’ law said, the king “shall not multiply horses to himself… Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold” (Deuteronomy 17:16-17)

Well, why didn’t God lash out at those committed polygamy? God was lenient because that is his grace.  His grace of which we can never really grasp.
